You have serious thrill issues Man.

Last night a few of us watched Finding Nemo and had McDonalds Happy Meals (mine wasn’t a ‘Happy Meal’ per-se but it made me happy) anyway, this is the third in a series of nights where we are watching a movie and eating food that is associated with it. Nemo and McD’s isn’t the strongest, but it sounded fun. We started off the whole thing with The Three Amigos and Mexican food. That was a blast so we had to continue. Last week was The Sandlot and Baseball food (including Dogs, Brats, Beer, etc. and for snacks we had Sunflower Seeds, Peanuts, and Big Juicy Bubblegum.)  It’s been fun and I can’t wait for the next few.

Not sure what order these are coming in, but here are some of our ideas…

‘The Godfather’ and Italian food

‘Forrest Gump’ and Shrimp-fest (totally my idea [says the seafood guy])

‘The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly’ with bbq’d ribs and other such “western” foods.

‘Kill Bill’ with sushi (love this one)

‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ with Greek/Mediterranean/middle -eastern food

‘Beauty & the Beast’ with French food

‘Karate Kid’ with Buck-a-scoop Chinese food
(thanks Micah for several of those)
and then there were some not-so-normal suggestions…
McDonalds again, but this time watch ‘SuperSize Me’.
and, from the ill mind of Kelly…
Beef Jerky and watching ‘Alive’
Oh, we’re bad.
Anyone have any other ideas? Good or bad? Comment! Comment! Comment!
(and please keep the cannibalism to a minimum)

oh and it’s been suggested that we replace Karate Kid (which, i know, is Japanese) with a Jackie Chan movie…or even Jet Li…i’m down.

some friends and i watched supersize me when mcdonald’s was having 25 cent burger days. we bought an obscene amount of meat and watched supersize me. i don’t like that guy or his movie. they’re both gay to the max.

we thought about watching all those obnoxious hippy movies and doing something spiteful while watching them. michael moore makes it difficult. what are we gonna do? shoot up a school while watching “columbine”? be patriotic while watching

sorry, wordpress seems to have freaked out on me. that should have read:

…be patriotic while watching “farehnheit”? none of them had quite the same appeal as mcdonald’s and supersize me.

i suppose we could watch an inconvenient truth on a portable dvd player while driving around the city in a gas guzzling hummer limo, driving over endangered species on a glacier. that has a certain appeal.

“Something about Mary” with franks and beans
    “Wind Talkers” with fry bread
“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” with tons o’ chocolate
“Fiddler on the Roof” with Jewish food.

Sorry, if I posted this once already, wordpress is giving me a hard time.

Dear God I can’t imagine eating ANYTHING and watching Kill Bill at the same time.

How about plain white rice and “Into the Wild?”
